Car seat rental

Car Seat Rental in Aruba: Infant Seats, Convertible Seats & Boosters

If you are renting a car with a baby or a young child, arrange a seat that fits them before the first drive. BabyQuip listings for Aruba include infant seats, convertible seats, boosters and a few accessories.

Example listings reviewed in November 2026 started at about $8 per day for a booster. That is a starting rate, not a confirmed total, and it is not proof that every taxi or rental company supplies a seat.

Which car seat should you rent?

Infant car seat, from $11/day

For a baby who rides rear-facing in an infant carrier. Some models include a carrier that clicks into a compatible stroller. Check the height and weight limits, whether a base is included, and whether that seat installs in your rental car.

Convertible car seat, from $9/day

For a baby or toddler who needs a rear-facing or forward-facing restraint, depending on the model. Keep a child rear-facing until they reach the highest rear-facing height or weight that seat allows. Do not turn them forward because a category name says toddler.

High-back booster, from $8/day

For an older child who has outgrown a harnessed seat and meets booster rules. The backrest helps place the vehicle belt. Check the child’s size, where the belt sits, and whether the seat works in that rental car.

Backless booster, from $8/day

For an older child who already meets the manufacturer’s booster rules. The car’s own seat has to support the head. The lap belt should sit low on the upper thighs, and the shoulder belt should cross the chest and shoulder, not the neck.

Car seat and stroller, from $20/day

For a family that needs both. Confirm which seat, which stroller and which adapters are in the booking, and that they fit together. Stroller types and wagon prices are on stroller rental in Aruba.

Car seat accessories

AccessoryPrice fromPurpose
Car seat base$8/dayAn install base for certain infant seats
Car mirror$2/dayA view of a rear-facing child, if it is mounted correctly

A base only works with the infant seat it is approved for. It is not universal. Confirm the model pair and that the base installs in your vehicle.

A mirror can help you see a rear-facing child. It has to stay fixed and out of the way of the driver’s view. Do not adjust it or watch it while the car is moving.

Airport, taxis and what to inspect

Order the seat for the same days as the car. Compare vehicles on car rentals in Aruba, then check that the seat fits that car’s belts or anchors. A hotel delivery does not put the seat in a car you collect at Queen Beatrix International Airport unless the listing says so.

Ask any airport transfer whether a child restraint is included. Do not assume a taxi has one. If the ride from the plane is the gap, bring a seat you already trust for that leg, or book a transfer that states one.

  • Model name, labels, and the height and weight limits.
  • Cracks, missing parts and a buckle that latches.
  • Whether you know how to install that model. Ask the provider to walk you through it.
  • A recall check on the manufacturer’s site if the model number is visible.

ArubaBuddies does not inspect these seats. The other family gear is on the baby gear hub.

Car seat rental questions

Can you rent a car seat in Aruba?

Yes. BabyQuip lists infant seats, convertible seats, high-back boosters and backless boosters for Aruba.

How much does a car seat rental cost?

In the November 2026 examples, boosters started around $8 a day, convertible seats around $9, and infant seats around $11. A car seat and stroller together started around $20. Confirm the current total.

Do Aruba rental cars include a car seat?

Do not assume so. Ask the rental company, and book a seat if they do not provide the one your child needs.

Do taxis in Aruba have car seats?

Not as a rule. Ask before you rely on a taxi for a baby or toddler.

Is a car seat base included?

Only if the listing says so. Example bases started around $8 a day, and a base has to match that exact infant seat.

Can BabyQuip deliver a car seat to a hotel?

Often, if that provider covers your address. Confirm the hotel and any delivery fee. Hotel delivery is not the same as having a seat at the airport.
