By visiting or using the ArubaBuddies.com website ("ArubaBuddies," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

ArubaBuddies is a travel planning and directory website. We publish guides, comparisons, directory listings, and links to third-party tours, restaurants, hotels, and other services. Nothing on this site is professional travel, legal, financial, or safety advice, or a guarantee that any experience will meet your expectations.

Our content is provided for general information and trip-planning purposes only. We aim to keep guides and listings accurate and current, but we also rely on:

• Information supplied by tourism partners, operators, restaurants, and other businesses
• Publicly available sources and third-party platforms (including review and booking partners)
• Our editorial judgment, research, and on-the-ground experience where applicable

Details may change without notice — including prices, hours, menus, routes, policies, availability, and ratings. We do not warrant that any listing, review count, photo, map, or description is complete, correct, or up to date when you read it.

Recommendations on ArubaBuddies (including top picks, comparisons, featured placements, and guide rankings) reflect our editorial choices and, in many cases, reviews from other travelers. They are starting points for your research, not instructions that remove your obligation to verify facts before you book, pay, or travel.

When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for all activity under your account and must keep your password secure.

You agree not to use ArubaBuddies to upload, post, or transmit content that is false, misleading, offensive, unlawful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate. Respect others and follow all applicable laws.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ArubaBuddies and its owners, operators, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of the site or reliance on our content.

ArubaBuddies is not liable for errors or omissions in listings or guides; outdated or inaccurate information supplied by partners or found in public sources; marketing or performance claims made by third parties; accidents, injuries, property damage, or dissatisfaction related to tours, restaurants, accommodations, or other services you book through external partners; or actions, failures, or policies of third-party websites, operators, or payment processors linked from our platform.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to the site shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to ArubaBuddies for the specific paid service giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) fifty United States dollars (USD $50).

ArubaBuddies provides restaurant booking services as a convenience to our users. When you submit a restaurant reservation request through our platform:

• We will forward your reservation request to the requested restaurant
• The restaurant will contact you directly to confirm your reservation
• We cannot guarantee that a table will be available at your requested time
• We cannot guarantee that the restaurant will respond to your request
• Restaurant availability and confirmation are subject to the restaurant's own policies and capacity

By using our restaurant booking service, you acknowledge that ArubaBuddies acts as an intermediary and is not responsible for the restaurant's response, availability, or any changes to your reservation. All restaurant-related decisions, including confirmation, cancellation, or modification of reservations, are made solely by the restaurant.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our sole discretion, particularly for behavior that violates these terms or disrupts the experience of others.

Any content you post or submit is your responsibility. By sharing content, you grant ArubaBuddies a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display it on our platform.

ArubaBuddies offers various community features and paid services to enhance your experience on our platform:

9.1 Community Posts

• Users can create posts in the community feed to share experiences, ask questions, and engage with other travelers
• All posts must comply with our Acceptable Use policy (Section 4)
• ArubaBuddies reserves the right to moderate, edit, or remove posts that violate our terms
• Users can pin any post (not just their own) using our post boosting service

9.2 Post Boosting (Pinning)

• Users can purchase post boosts to pin posts to the top of the community feed for a specified duration (12 hours, 24 hours, or 48 hours)
• Post boosts are one-time payments and are non-refundable once the boost period has started
• Super Community Members receive monthly pin credits as part of their subscription
• Boosted posts will appear at the top of the community feed for the duration purchased
• ArubaBuddies reserves the right to remove boosted posts that violate our terms, without refund

9.3 Listing Promotions

• Businesses can promote their listings (restaurants, tours, hotels) to appear at the top of directory pages
• Promotion durations include 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days
• Promoted listings feature a "Promoted" badge and appear in featured carousels
• For restaurants, promoted listings include three call-to-action buttons linking directly to the restaurant's website
• Promotions are one-time payments and are non-refundable once activated
• ArubaBuddies reserves the right to remove promotions for listings that violate our terms or contain inaccurate information, without refund

9.4 Super Community Member Subscription

• Super Community Members receive a monthly subscription that includes pin credits for community posts
• Subscriptions are billed monthly and automatically renew unless cancelled
• Monthly credits reset at the beginning of each billing cycle and do not roll over
• Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, and access will continue until the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

9.5 Partner Dashboard Subscription

• Partner Dashboard subscriptions provide businesses with analytics, promotion tools, and monthly boost credits
• Partners may select up to 5 listings to manage through their dashboard subscription
• You can select any listing to view its analytics and performance data. We recommend selecting listings you own or manage for the most relevant insights.
• All listing selections are subject to admin review. ArubaBuddies reserves the right to remove access to any listing at any time.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly and automatically renew unless cancelled
• Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, and access will continue until the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

9.6 Facebook Ad Booster

• Businesses can purchase Facebook Ad Booster services as an add-on to listing promotions
• ArubaBuddies will create and launch Facebook ad campaigns within 24-48 hours of purchase
• Ad previews will be sent via email before campaigns go live
• Facebook Ad Booster is a one-time payment and is non-refundable once the campaign has been created

All paid services on ArubaBuddies are processed through Stripe, a secure third-party payment processor. By making a purchase, you agree to the following:

• All prices are displayed in USD and are subject to change without notice
• Payments are processed immediately upon checkout completion
• Receipts will be sent to the email address provided during checkout
• All sales are final. Refunds are only provided in exceptional circumstances at ArubaBuddies' sole discretion
• For subscription services, you authorize ArubaBuddies to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled
• If a payment fails, we will attempt to notify you and may suspend your service until payment is resolved
• ArubaBuddies is not responsible for any fees charged by your bank or payment provider

By creating an account and providing your email address, you consent to receive travel tips, trip planning assistance, and promotional communications from ArubaBuddies. These communications may include:

• Personalized travel tips and recommendations for your Aruba trip
• Updates about new features and services on our platform
• Special offers and promotions from our travel partners
• Community updates and featured travel plans

You can unsubscribe from these communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us directly. Your email address will be used solely for the purposes outlined above and will not be sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

We collect and process your personal information, including name, email address, travel dates, and preferences, to provide you with personalized travel planning services and improve your experience on our platform.

Your data is stored securely and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you agree to our data collection and processing practices as described in our Privacy Policy.

Your use of ArubaBuddies is at your sole risk. The site and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or servers are free of viruses or harmful components. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of guides, listings, maps, photos, reviews, affiliate links, or third-party content.

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated terms. The "Last updated" date at the bottom of this page indicates when these terms were last revised.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Aruba. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Aruba.

ArubaBuddies provides travel inspiration, directory listings, and affiliate-based recommendations for informational and planning purposes only. We do our best to keep guides and listings accurate, but we also rely on information partners share with us and on what is publicly available online.

ArubaBuddies is not liable for errors, outdated details, or third-party claims. Recommendations reflect our editorial judgment, on-the-ground experience where applicable, and reviews from other travelers — they are not a substitute for verifying prices, hours, and policies before you book.

We are not responsible for losses or damages resulting from reliance on site content, including affiliate links. ArubaBuddies may earn a commission from qualifying purchases or bookings via third-party links, but we do not control external sites, operators, or services.

Use your own judgment when booking tours, accommodations, restaurants, or other arrangements. Verify travel requirements, safety information, and local regulations through official sources before your trip.
