What Is the Sustainability Fee?
Since July 1, 2024, Aruba has implemented a $20 Sustainability Fee, paid at the time of your ED Card submission. The funds go directly toward upgrading Aruba's sewage and wastewater treatment systems to support a more sustainable future.

Do I need to fill out the ED Card for my child?
Yes. Every traveler, including children, must submit an individual ED Card. However, children under 8 are exempt from the $20 Sustainability Fee.
Can I apply once for my whole family or group?
No. Each person must complete their own ED Card and pay the fee individually. There's no group application option.
What if I cancel my trip?
Refunds are issued within 3–7 days, depending on the system phase. The fee is only charged after you physically arrive in Aruba.
What if I don't receive a confirmation?
Check your spam/junk folder first. If you still don't have it, you may need to reapply. A valid email address is required for confirmation.
Can I edit my ED Card after submitting?
No. You'll need to submit a new application if anything changes. Make sure all information is correct before submitting.
