Seabob

Seabob Aruba: Best Underwater Scooter Tours & Prices

A Seabob or sea scooter moves you through the water while you hold on. You still wear snorkel gear. You do not get a tank, and you do not need a dive card for the four tours on this page.

Two of them are Seabob trips with Segway Aruba: a reef route that names Arashi, Boca Catalina and Tres Trapi, and a longer trip that starts at the Antilla. The other two are sea-scooter snorkels at Mangel Halto. They are not the same machine.

Quick answer: The lowest starting price here is $95 per person for the Nautilus sea scooter. Guided Seabob tours start at $97.44. The booked time is the whole outing, not a promise of that many minutes on the scooter.

What a Seabob Is

You hold the handles and an electric motor pulls you forward. Depending on the model and the sea, that can be at the surface or a short dip under it. The machine does not give you air. If you go under, you are still holding your breath. The guide explains the controls before you start. These four tours do not ask for a dive card. They also do not share one swimming rule. Ask, especially if someone is not a confident swimmer.

Book Segway Aruba when the brand and the northwest coast, or the wreck, are the point. Book Mangel Halto when you want a guided snorkel with a motor. The place, the group size and the time on the device matter more than the logo.

Where These Tours Go

  • Arashi Reef is on the northwest coast. The one-hour Seabob tour names it and starts and finishes there.
  • Boca Catalina is on that same reef tour.
  • Tres Trapi is on both Segway Aruba itineraries. Turtles are seen there sometimes. A listing cannot promise one.
  • The Antilla is the wreck on the dedicated Seabob tour, as the first stop.
  • Mangel Halto is the coast for Aruba Bob and Nautilus. Confirm the meeting pin. The stored addresses are not the same as the beach name.

Segway Aruba reef Seabob$97.44
Aruba Bob sea scooter$100
Antilla Seabob$120

You are paying for a guide, the machine and the outing. Shore snorkeling is the cheaper way to look at fish. That guide is snorkeling in Aruba. An independent Seabob rental is not one of these four bookings.

Briefing, gear and any transfer sit inside that clock. Ask how many minutes you are actually on the scooter.

Safety and Wildlife

  • Take the briefing and stay with the guide.
  • Confirm the swimming rule and any health limit.
  • Stay in the area they set. Do not go deeper than you can handle on a breath.
  • Do not touch the reef or chase a turtle with the motor.
  • A Seabob does not supply air.

Bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, a sun shirt, water and the confirmation. Leave loose valuables out of the water. A full refund on all four needs a cancellation at least 24 hours ahead.
